The check-in was horrible. The staff spent so much time to figure out what we booked. The manager wanted to be “transparent” about our room having a water issue, but I don’t see how that’s our problem? and it doesn’t mean you can put us in a cheaper room instead. It gave us a very bad impression of this hotel from the beginning. Our Luxury King was big but weird. Both chairs were uncomfortable, and there was a microwave but no refrigerator. The two stars here are for the jacuzzi and the swimming pool, the parts we enjoyed the most.

The room was pretty. Great size. Bed super comfy. There wasn't anything special about the maid service and several things were forgotten or not replenished, but we felt our room was clean. Body lotion has a lovely lemon verbena scent. We booked a couples massage. That experience wasn't the greatest. Therapists were late (15minutes). We had to wait near the jacuzzi, where there was a jacuzzi party going on outside the treatment room, so it was loud and jovial, but not the serene feel we wanted and the massages were sub par. For $400.00, we did expect a lot more. We wouldn't book another treatment there, however we would definitely return to stay at the hotel. Restaurant is fantastic and restaurant manager really friendly and helpful. The pool is a tad on the smaller side, but never the less, the area is really pretty, clean and the lounges are comfy. The setting makes the whole property complete.

Its heyday has come and gone. No hot water, shower handle came off, no coffee until late morning. If you’re paying $600 min for your room, at least have coffee that you promised to have.

Staff were super friendly and kind and helpful. The room was beautiful and clean. My only complaint as we didn’t have a fridge just the drink chiller in the room for personal refrigerated items . The staff accommodated us by using their fridge at the front desk for items we wanted frozen.

The hotel was very beautiful and nice to spend time relaxing. The biggest issue was the mosquitos. There were a lot inside the hotel room biting us and making us miserable and we did not know how they were getting into the room. The staff was not very helpful . I tried to make an appointment for a couples massage at the spa more than a month prior to our booking and they never confirmed. I called again a few weeks later and again they never confirmed. They told us the day before check in that they only had one masseusse. I was dissapointed as that was not enough time for me to find another place to get massages at the same time. The staff in general did not seem to care about our concerns. When we first checked in we were out of soap in the shower and they did not want to refill it until the next day which was ridiculous. For the cost of the hotel I was expecting much better service.

It’s a 21 and over hotel so not family friendly but we loved our getaway! Great hikes nearby. Bikes available but so much walkable. Visited Joshua tree and just relaxed for days!

Our room had mosquitoes which made our stay miserable! This property is on the nicer side but we found this unacceptable. The staff was super nice but for this price point, again can't have mosquitoes buzzing at your head all night long.
