Not up to Hyatt standards. I felt we was in a Howard Johnson's. Bathroom fixtures were rusty, no magnifying mirror, cheap toiletries, sagging mattress but giving it 3 stars for their prime location.

The hotel is very outdated and in desperate need of updating. Furniture, flooring to include tile and carpet in our room, very shabby. The round dining table is very unstable and seemed unsafe. The couch cushions completely deflated into the couch. This hotel does definitely not reflect the usual caliber of a Hyatt. The location is ideal and very centrally located but until it is refreshed and updated we would not stay there again.

The room had a few issues like the shower/tub combo not draining normally and the toilet making a weird noise every time you flush. However, Lesly at the front desk was super sweet and helpful checking us in. We had a late flight into PSP but she made sure we got settled and helped us find the hotel parking. If it hadn't been for her the rating would have been lower than 4 stars.

Let’s be real – people choose this property for the location. It couldn’t be better than the middle of downtown Palm Springs, and that was a real boon for our family, traveling with smaller children. The condition of the property itself was pretty disappointing. In my brother‘s room, the showerhead and faucet were inexplicably wrapped in plastic and taped, with a good quarter inch of dust caked on underneath. It hadn’t been touched in months, and we still don’t understand why. In our room, flipping the mattress on the pullout bed made us wretch. Basic amenities, including phones, safes, and bottles of water were either unavailable or had to be requested specifically. The whole place is just dirty and run into the ground, and it would be fine if we were paying a standard amount for a hotel. But with taxes and fees, it came to $500 a night. For that much money, they can afford to hire a couple of additional housekeepers and handymen.
