First the positives...check in staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Staff member Dawn was especially accommodating. Room was clean and furnishings modern and up to date. Negatives...Room lacked small amenities. No pen and note paper, no ice bucket, only one chair for a room with two people. 100 yard walk from the elevator. Weird mechanical noise that went on 24/7. People in the room above tramping around for 40 minutes starting at midnight. Diamond member parking closest to the entrance while Disabled parking distant from the entrance. We stayed at a Hampton Inn in Encinitas which was fantastic with a terrific restaurant in the hotel. This hotel in Cathedral City was bare bones comparatively. We have stayed at other locations in the area and they were all superior to this hotel. Won't be staying there in the future.
