Great location next to train line. Hotel room was very small (compared to all other hotels we stayed at in Japan). Room was clean but my bed sheets had a burn hole (?) in it. Definitely seemed more “basic”. Check in/check out was easy but staff was not as warm and accommodating as other places. No A/C in common spaces (lobby and hallways). So it was toasty. Breakfast was not good, so we chose to not get our “free” breakfast again on the second day. I don’t think I would book here again.

I had googled and grateful to have come across this hotel! You’ll be doing a lot of walking, it was wonderful seeing this hotel was in front of the Tenmabashi Station/Keihan City Hall building/mall that had a Starbucks, McDonalds, GU, Uniqlo, Daiso and a grocery store. We all loved the breakfast and amenities! Thank you for making our visit to Osaka so special!

The location was good in terms of getting trains also Tokyo station only a 10 minute walk which was really useful for us getting the Shinkansen at the end of our stay. There is also a Lawson and 7/11 nearby. However it’s not a very sociable area which was good in some ways that it felt peaceful but in terms of restaurants and things to do it’s quite limited. The staff were so helpful especially with forwarding our luggage to the next hotel in Kyoto this was very efficient. The room was on the smaller side but that’s because it’s Tokyo and also we had a three bed room which obviously took more space. However the suitcases fit under the bed and it was fine. The hotel provides everything you’d need with skincare kits, razors, toothbrush etc and also extras available for free hire at reception including hair tools and irons. The included breakfast is really good with three set menu options one being a western style. This was delicious and definitely worth it. Overall I’d really recommend this hotel for a more chill retreat from busy areas like shibuya etc.
