Disliked: Cleanliness
Contacting the owner was easy as well. Fast response. House had a urine smell to it. No real house cleaning. It was more of a wipe with water and go. Furniture is old and some did not match the photos online. We were given a pie by the owner which was nice. No real cleaning supplies provided, we purchased our own to wipe the home down. Nell was very invasive. I was in and out of the home on the first day and she was either driving around, parked in the front or parked across the street. My friend was putting a charcuterie board together the following morning and Nell popped up at the fence line. I usually don't write reviews where I stay unless it's exceptional. Almost one week later I received an email stating that I had a fire in her home, there was smoke damage on all her furniture and walls, apparently I broke a toilet seat, I broke blinds (even though behind one couch there was a pile of broken blinds) I was told I had a party at her home with over 60 people. I asked permission for my family to hang out in the back sand area since my wedding was interrupted by the wind storm. I never had more than 15 people in the home. And might I add BEFORE I even invited my family I spoke to Nell on the phone and got permission. I sent my proof in to VRBO and the claim was closed. Very unprofessional and an evil thing to do to someone. Smoke damage but she was still renting out the unit as I attempted to rent and it was available!
