We were here for a volleyball tournament. although we didn’t have the ocean front view, the kitchenette was great. We didn’t learn until the last day but on the second floor of the second building is it’s own breakfast and pool. So you didn’t even have to cross into the main lobby, we were also about a 30 minute walk to the very end of the boardwalk. It was a nice stroll on a sunny day. Parking was easy. The breakfast was great. Similar options each day, but it was nice eating outside with an ocean view. They had these great bite size quiches things and gluten free options as well. Star was friendly, they even let us use and stay late in the dining area one night.

We liked that this property was far enough away from the noise of the busy parts of the boardwalk, but still had enough options of things to do close by. It was easy to walk or bike to the far end of the boardwalk. The indoor pool was great because it rained often while we were there.

I'm not if i would stay here again. When i checked in i was charged for parking which was 10 dollars per day of which was a waste of money due to the fact i could not park there because every space was taken so i parked on the street. When i got to the room it was not ocean front, when i contacted the front desk they stated since i booked on expedia this is what was available So i then paid the upgrade which was 40 per night which was 120 in total. The new room had a problem with the A/c and it would not turn off. It was cold at night so i was freezing. The maintenence guy came and stated that the turn off was not working so he closed the vents. He did offer a room change but it was my last night and i decided to continue to tiff it out. However, the breakfast was decent and the building was cleaned.

Quiet and comfortable retreat to the ocean. Fairly new facility with better than average free breakfast. Very popular with dog owners so if encountering multiple dogs while moving out and about the facility is not your idea of a relaxing stay, you may want to reconsider this facility.

This is a very clean and Modern property right on the boardwalk. Staff was very friendly. There are plenty of restaurants and shops just down the boardwalk. Very convenient location. Great parking.

Beautiful hotel. Had a room with a balcony that looked out to the ocean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Went at a time when there were no crowds. 3 concerns: 1. Wish there was a microwave in the room. 2. The bathroom sink didn’t supply hot water - warm or cold. Shower was hot and powerful, which was more important. 3. We heard a small beeping noise periodically and couldn’t place where it was coming from. My wife was bothered by it, and it interrupted her sleeping one night. I heard it a couple of times during the day.
