I have been staying at Coral Reef for years! This trip was no different in meeting my expectations (clean rooms, available items in the restrooms, decent options for breakfast--but the inn is walking distance from a plaza with much to offer, so this has never been an issue for us). The only exception which had taken us aback this visit was not being given a parking pass for the lot (which was a first for us) it was kinda shrugged off when we inquired about it. Also, not offering or pre-providing one of the "Do Not Disturb" door dangers--which was oddly a first as well. When we asked for one, they just pulled out a blank door hanger and hand-wrote it in. (Something anyone could have done. So again, odd; and slightly unprofessional in our opinion) These two points docked a star for us in rating this trip simply because we've never experienced that in our past visits; and for safety purposes (being undisturbed throughout the trip) and for peace of mind (knowing we would not get towed parking in the inn's parking lot), I think they're important enough.

The carpets could definitely be replaced.. but preferably the whole hotel needs to be renovated.. They location was perfect.. loved how the waters n mall are walking distance.. The staff could be a little bit more friendly.. they were very helpful but they had no personality to them.. no smiles etc…

The hotel has potential.. you can tell it is very old.. DEFINITELY NEEDS BE CARPET THRU OUT THE WHOLE PLACE!!! Staff members were very helpful but they looked and acted like they did not want to be there!! No smiles no personality .. just robots doing their jobs.. nothing more or less to accommodate the customers.. The location is perfect!! I absolutely love the location.. renovate the hotel!!

Very basic. Furniture outdated.Great for the price. Walking distance to the beach. Didn't charge extra for parking which I much appreciate. The shopping center has everything you need. My door key malfunctioned 2x but it was an easy fix.
