I really enjoyed my stay. The location was perfect,close to everything and very convenient. I also love how safe and comfortable I felt during my visit. Th only small thing was that the cleanliness could hav a little better, but overall it was a very pleasant experience.

The staff here are wonderful, Check-in agent named Sunil is always so very nice to me, tries to give me my favorite room, Check-out agent named Celia is a sweet person and her husband always helps me with my luggage because he knows i'm disabled. As a traveling musician, this is the only place that I stay in the bay area.

Rooms very outdated, carpets were filthy, wouldn’t use the stove or anything in the kitchen, the beds where old and lumpy, had a musty smell , did have big closets and was spacious, no ice on property, rooms do not look like they do online, the breakfast was yogurt, toast, cereal and a danish. I should have trusted prior reviews of this place as being a bit out-dated and run down, it certainly could use some paint and a little more TLC, however it is in a great location, beach is just across the street, and a nice shopping center with many cute stores/ wide variety of resturaunts and food choices across the other street. Overall, our goal was to just have a place to sleep in between the daily activities, and Coral Reef Inn met that need at a reasonable price.

I have stayed at the Coral Reef many times over the years. It is a classic 1930’s/1940’s motel so things are a bit old. But the price, value, and location are great for a traveler who enjoys a place with character and history. The website suggests they have a “business center,” but they do not have a room with a computer and printer you can access. But the staff at front desk were very helpful and printed out my conference papers for me. I had a great stay
