We were there for an annual offroad event this past weekend. Since we got there the security of the hotel and police were on us they told one of the organizers of the event that they might only give us the back dirt lot because they were hosting another event for fancy dogs. Since that moment we understood that they had preference for the other event. They said what we were doing was “ghetto “ in those words. Not professional at all for them to say. The whole time we were being watched like if we were criminals which made the whole event uncomfortable the night we came back from our offroad trip we had planned for live music and food vendors in the dirt lot so we were not making to much noise or disturbances close to the hotel . The police kept patrolling going over and over first they said for us to make sure we picked up our trash (which we were) the second time to say that our music was loud (which wasn’t true ) the third time to say we had 20 min to shut everything off. We truly felt discriminated . To be honest that is the last time we go to this hotel were we are not welcome.

So let's begin with the room. The refrigerator did not work the wall behind the cabinet which was between the two beds had a massive hole in it where wires were all coming through. The carpets needed cleaning and there was an odor in the hallway. unbeknownst to me there is a $39 per night resort fee that I did not know about and that is per night. The chair in my room was broken and I almost fell out of it.

Staff was super nice. But the rooms, atrocious. We visited a friend of ours and her room had a leaking roof that flooded her room. Another friend of ours had been checked in on Friday and the hotel moved her due to scheduled renovations. Our room was filthy when we checked in. I went to plug my phone charger in behind the nightstand and found there was trash everywhere behind the nightstand underneath the bed in the bathroom. The carpet was dirty and stained. The bedroom TV did not work and was stuck on audio only. The heater only had two options either full blast or off so we would either freeze or cook. Again the staff was super nice and very personable so I appreciate Albert and the way I was treated at the front desk. But the rooms themselves make me want to rethink ever staying here overnight again.

The security at the hotel was racist and did not let us park at the hotel stating that they had a special event for dogs going on. They had us park at another hotel and at the end they said it was due to new management. After we went to check in and the receptionist was very rude. I stayed one night and left the next day. When I was at checkout today the receptionist said I couldn’t checkout until tomorrow since u had reserved it for two nights. I decided not to stay due to the treatment given to us and the way I was spoken to. Never coming here again. They did not want to refund the night for today even though I checked out.

I am going to fight for all of my money back! I paid $39.97, and demand a full refund. I don't care if it says no refund. They scam you!! I checked in early, there was a $40 some fee for early check in (which I didn't do). Then they charge a "Mandatory $45 Maintenance Fee"! I was extremely upset, because of those extra fees, and I didn't have the extra monies, so I was forced to leave. I'm going after a full refund of $52.14, and I won't stop until I receive my full refund!!!
