Clean with friendly staff

We went to hotel very early because of when our flight came in, although there were no rooms available (which we didn’t expect). They have a place to hold bags so we could go out and start our adventure. Bed was comfortable, room clean, continental breakfast was good and the sitting area was bright and plenty of space to sit. Shuttle was easy to find at the airport and transport both ways was quick. Picked us up and then got us off on time.

My entire stay made me itchy. There were broken items everywhere and stains. The breakfast and restaurant offerings were less appetizing than public school cafeterias

Awful. The room was very loud and echoed because the floor was bare. The walls were scuffed. The tiles in the bathroom were cracked. A strange whirring noise went off and on through the night. Luckily the ac in my room muffled that sound occasionally. The restaurant was closed. There was no regular coffee left when I went to the 9 th floor in the morning. Good things: check in was friendly. Bed was comfortable.

Accommodating staff

Upon arrival the concierge was excellent and extremely helpful. He was very accommodating and was able to move us to a more suitable room. We were disappointed at the news that the restaurant was closed because the cook was sick. Because of the location of this hotel we were very limited on restaurant choices. We were not comfortable walking in this neighborhood, so we made the choice to order pizza and have it delivered. Great view from the top floor. Our room appeared nice upon entry, but looking closer it needed some deep cleaning. Lots of dirt around the edges especially in the bathroom. The worst part was buy the time I went to bed, I discovered that the sheets had not been changed.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was a different story - paint chipped on every wall, bathroom floor looked like it had grime and paint all over it, bedroom floor was ripped up and couch had crumbs all over it. The area around the hotel also leaves a lot to be desired and I often did not feel safe walking alone.

The staff were amazing!!! Front desk, SNAP shuttle drivers and kitchen staff. Our room was clean and housekeeping was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast through the week was amazing (included with your stay) with self made waffles, fresh fruit, cheese omelets , breakfast potatoes, cereal and more. On the weekend slightly limited, no omelettes or potatoes but they did have scrambled eggs. The shuttle was so convenient for me and my husband( also included), it takes you directly to and from the airport, so it was easy for us to get back and forth to New York from EWR via bus or AiraTran. The only downside is the location itself, the hotel is in an industrial zone so there’s nothing really to do in the area around the hotel but DoorDash and delivery is available for food and there is dinner served upstairs until 10pm. There was also no indoor pool available but besides those minor things we enjoyed the stay. Affordable and friendly.
