The room was neglected, 3 of the 4 lamps in the room didn't work as the bulbs were burned out. The glass seal on the door for the bath room was half off and dangling, The shower,conditioner, bath soap vials were used and opened. The room cleaning did not show up for the second day and lastly, I had bed bug bites all over my arm after my stay. This used to be a reasonably decent hotel Now it is a slum dwelling.

I always stay there when i need to spend 1 or 2 nights in brooklyn but this time i had a room without heat and was obliged to spend 2 nights in the cold and i had to leave to go somewhere else for the last night . I did not like it at all and worse about it , it was on the first floor , so noisy , people talking so loud

The room was terrible and it smelled so bad. It was so dirty and filthy, the bathroom was connected to the bedroom, barely no wall. It’s better to sleep in your car than ever go to a place like this. The pictures this hotel provided are also FAKE, I’ll attach the actual circumstances below:

I’ve stayed at The Brooklyn Hotel a couple of times. Overall, for the price, it’s pretty solid. The rooms are generally clean and it’s hard to beat the value. Room 1: Huge room at a great price, but it was missing a bathroom door. There was also a shooting right outside the hotel in the middle of the night, directly in front of our window, so we didn’t get much sleep. Obviously not the hotel’s fault, but it is what it is for the area. Room 2: Smaller room. The bathroom door was water-damaged and jammed, and the wall of the water closet was open—doing a #2 with other people in the room was… not ideal. The worst part was that the shampoo, conditioner, and lotion clearly hadn’t been replaced from the previous guest. The lotion bottle was about a quarter empty and had what looked like sand in it, which honestly grossed me out. That said, for the price, it’s still not a bad hotel if you’re just looking for a decent place to crash.
