The room i was given was next elevator and ice machine. Couldnt sleep with peace because of stressful noise that was coming from ice machine none stop. Sounded like someone kicking the ice machine non stop

Fine hotel, great staff, questionable location

Hotel is fine. Staff all very friendly, nice and helpful. Breakfast above average to great. Room was fine. Location is not great for two reasons: 1. Completely surrounded by industry- no restaurants, etc. for ~3/4ths of a mile. 2. Half a mile walk to nearest metro station through some questionable areas.

Passing Thru…

Passing thru NYC and we had not been to Coney Island before. The location is close to most things in Coney Island and it was easy to get to, but the surroundings are a bit strange/industrial. The staff were friendly and the comfort and cleanliness was nice. I would stay here again, only knock maybe be parking it was on the street and a small side lot - we came in late and were fortunate to get a spot right in front of the building. I would imagine if this was peak travel season the parking could get dicey. But it’s NYC who needs a car anyway?

Our stay at this Best Western Brooklyn-Coney Island was terrific, however the TVs were not working due to technical difficulties throughout the hotel. The staff did come up and tried to accommodate by placing a new TV. The staff was so polite and great customer service. We are planning to return next month!

This hotel is kept clean and neat. The staff is helpful in the kitchen area during breakfast. However I am saddened that during this last stay someone kept my bathroom tub mat that I left as I checked out that morning and returned the evening inquiring about item left behind.

My stay was mostly okay. The twin queen bed suite was a bit smaller than I’m used to, but that didn’t bother me too much. The only thing I didn’t like was that there was no microwave. Breakfast was okay, but the French toast was stale and the sausage was cheap from the dollar store. It was exactly what you’d expect for the price, though. *There was some construction noise throughout the night, and I think the walls might be a bit thin too. This is a pretty heavy construction zone, so it’s not surprising.

Nice modern hotel set in an older apartment building. Clean and safe with attentive polite personnel. Plenty of parking in the lot or on the street nearby. The price was right too, especially for New York.

The hotel was adequate, not fancy, in a rather unattractive neighborhood with warning signs in the parking lot making it appear the area was unsafe. Breakfast was a good value.
