Breakfast was great. However, the room I was in was extremely small for a family of four. Bathroom could’ve been cleaner. Shower wasn’t clean. I had to clean it myself. Not to mention there wasn’t any running water for almost an hour which was horrible because I was preparing an appointment. When the water finally came back it was brown for a couple of minutes. I spoke with the employee at the front desk but he didn’t care much.

Nothing fancy but great for the price point, clean, pretty new, a stone’s throw from Brooklyn College, a busy lively shopping area with residential areas a short walk in most directions, buses and subway. Lots of cheaper eats. I did not sample the hotel breakfast so I can’t speak to it. The staff are professional and friendly. There is a parking garage less than a half block to the left of hotel if you are facing the front door. Comfortable bed. I would book again if needed.

The room size we rented was tight. No real walking space for a family of four. Staff were pleasant not great. Breakfast food service worker did not really speak/greet.

Early check-in fee is charged sporadically. No mention of a set price anywhere. I was charged one set price for early check-in fee 2 weeks ago when i checked in at 12noon. I was now told it could be an increase tripling that previous amount when i checked in at 11am today. The hotel was not at full capacity and wasn't going to sleep the full night. This just seems like a scam, this early check-in fee wasn't even billed on folio. So who knows where this was applied. They need to have a disclaimer somewhere because this is the first hotel I've seen charging me an early check-in fee with no mention on their website. If i can't trust a hotel with my charges i can't trust them on anything.

The room was clean, and the surfaces were updated. The Metro system is just a short distance away. It's an easy trip to and from JFK. I took the Skytrain at the airport to the Long Island Railway to the Atlantic Station and then to the #5 train, which drops you 2 blocks (4 mins) away. The only downside is that the room was small. The pictures make it appear larger. There wasn't a table to work at, just a narrow desk under the TV. I would have liked a bedside lamp for reading. Breakfast is included, which is a bonus. Overall, it was clean and comfortable, and I will happily stay there again.
