There were no curtains on the windows. The windows on the neighboring building looked directly into my room an I couldn’t do anything about it. And I couldn’t block out the light so I could sleep longer. Inexcusable invasion of privacy

Room was clean and spacious for a NYC hotel. The hot water was luke warm. The AC worked well and we had a decent view of the city. The beds were comfortable. The location was wonderful for us. We didn’t mind taking the subway to get out of the hustle and bustle of the theater district, or the heart of NYC. It was across the street from a police station so a + for safety and a - for noise. The staff was absolutely wonderful. A subway stop is right by the hotel (downtown) and uptown is across the street. We used often. The hotel restaurant was a disappointment the food and service were mid. The price was high (72$ for 2) tip was automatic 25% and the non attentive waitress asked for an additional tip. So be aware. The uber was around 80-90$ to and from the hotel if it matters.

The room was fine, the staff was helpful but only one elevator working was a major pain point. When on the 6th floor, we timed one afternoon at almost 10 minutes, after that, we took the stairs, do better. The restaurant is only open for breakfast, there used to be a bar here, and no place to sit in the lobby to have a conversation.

Horrible experience, pretty sure the bed had bed bugs. We complained and were given a new room in the middle of the night, which was better, but hotel staff didn’t even bother to help us move our belongings. We had to carry our own luggage one floor up to the new room because out of the two elevators in the hotel, one was not in service. The elevator in service was extremely slow, so we were forced to take the stairs throughout the duration of our stay. I doubt I’ll ever choose to stay in a Hilton again - that’s how bad the experience was. And I’m a rewards member.

WHAT BREAKFAST MENU? THE RESTAURANT ATTACHED CHARGED $20 PER ITEM, THE LOX SANDWICH WAS GOOD, BUT THE EGG SANDWICH WASN'T. PLAYED LOUD, LOUSEY INDIAN MUSIC. THE ROOM WAS VERY COLD. THE COFFEE BAR WAS REMOVED BY 9AM? I WONTSTAY AT THAT HOTEL AGAIN. AND ONLY ONE ELEVATOR ALL WEEKEND!
