Front desk staff were lovely and allowed early check in. On arrival, person who let us in used odour spray right before we entered. Smell was overwhelming to the point we could not stay. Room was very dated, cupboards in kitchenette falling apart and cob webs above lights. Advertising misleading as it describes "direct beach access" we ith pictures of the beach in listing. Beach in fact 8 minute walk down the road. Very disappointed. We requested refund based on these findings and told by front desk that the manager would be in contact with us. Hours later and we still have not heard back and had to book elsewhere.

What was wrong: Window coverings too small &/or broken = no privacy; no smoke detector; no door sill on door to keep bugs and weather out; rotting trim in bathroom; mold/mildew on tub/tile; lack of plug ins &/or functioning plug ins. What was good: Pleasant and polite staff; clean beds, bedding and towels; Nice yard and free access to mini golf across the road.

The motel is in a great spot walking distance to the community park. The staff was friendly. The rooms were very clean. I have stayed here two years in a row. I would stay here again.

They staff were attentive and friendly, they accommodated an early check-in for us. We noticed the shower wasn’t working and it was fixed immediately. It has a great patio gazebo area out front for everyone’s use.

Lovely staff but very few items in the kitchenette so not usable. I had to ask for a few utensils so I could eat my breakfast. Curtains did not hang right and the bedroom curtains were too small for the window.

The staff were great but the cleanliness was bad there were hairs all over the room place we found someone else’s sunscreen under the bed . You can tell they don’t care about the cleanliness inside . It smelled horrid as well, the outside has windows in the back and it’s full of there junk . For the amount they charge to stay it should be fully renovated . The price is way to exspensive for the dirty mess and the quality of the place .

Rooms need updating and bathroom was a bit dingy. It served its purpose for the two nights we stayed there but in the future I would stay at the Coast right next door. The pros to this place is the area it’s in. You can walk to the beach and restaurants within 10 minutes.

When we checked in we were advised that a damage deposit had already been deducted from credit card used to guarantee booking. Every other place we have stayed have asked for this on arrival. Very unhappy about this and no apology given. However we were then told that we had been ungraded to a bigger room with kitchenette. Ineffective aircon unit in room but beds comfy.
