It was a good stay, hotel looks like it has had a renovation/been updated. Room was great, clean had a big bathroom and all amenities. Only a couple of negatives and I do know and understand it’s an old building but it was noisy, water pipes were noisy from rooms next door and could hear other rooms doors opening and closing and people walking up hallways. Also one side of the bed had obviously been used a lot more than the other. Staff were friendly and helpful, we had burgers for dinner and they were absolutely great. Probably the best southern fried chicken burger I’ve had in a few years!

Self-checked in around 9pm with drunks yelling at us from above. Room was first on the left at the top of the stairs. The door was propped open with a dirty laundry bag. Came in, closed door then had same drunks going up and down stairs knocking on window and door. I think they thought they had a free room available for the night until we arrived. Room renovation, bathroom and kitchen area very tastefully done. Unfortunately the bed was absolutely awful and the blind on said window did not fully cover the window - light and heat streaming in come morning. Very poorly positioned room for the price, which was just under $200 for the night. Fire door constantly banging with people coming in an out. I wasn't expecting luxury, but did expect a better bed and position for the price.

Stumbled upon this gem on my road trip. Beautifully renovated hotel both inside the accommodation & the pub itself. Friendly staff, efficient service, great beers on tap, good food menu, live entertainment & plenty of screens to watch sport. Room was delightful, modern upgrade while keeping its old charm. Step up large bathroom was impressive. Town is also cute. Highly recommend.

An older motel with recent upgrades in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful, making good suggestions for dining. The room was spacious with a desk and small dining table (two chairs). The bathroom was great, water pressure was OK. The kitchenette was handy, with the basics all provided. Air-con worked well and the bed was super comfortable. I really can't think of any area that could be improved.

Our Queen Deluxe double room looked brand new, beautifully neat and attractive. Compact, but enough space. (Personally, I'm a bit old for one side of bed being along a wall, so a bit of crawling in and out 😊). Very spacious bathroom, but at present lacks a shelf for toiletteries. Management still working out how to set it all up. Good facilities, but no chair(s) or table, and limited kitchen facilities, but all staff (with Joe and Ash, our go-toers) were wonderful, and provided things on request. A lovely surprise to find a handy kitchenette space. Huge bathroom and recently renovated. It would be great if the hotel opened up the small lounge space downstairs for hotel guests to use in the mornings.
