Many choices at breakfast that were skillfully prepared. Great location for enjoying the town of Carmel by the Sea. Only negative is the parking is tight. It seems they have exactly the same number of parking places as rooms.

Property was very clean and modern but it was missing that Carmel charm. Our room was on the second floor (no elevator) and the room was VERY small. When you opened the door, you literally walked right onto your bed. Bathroom was a little more spacious but overall small. Breakfast was surprisingly great. Overall, good hotel but wouldn’t stay again for what we paid for.

Property is new and clean. It is similar to new Holiday Inn Express. The breakfast is horrible at Stilwell. Hotel has no elevator so all guests should enjoy carrying their bags up the stairs. Not a great experience for the price.
