I loved our stay, the vibe was immaculate, the hotel lobby had the best scent- the kids loved the pool, the best part was the friendly staff at the Sheerwater Tavern, we visited for happy hour and for dinner, Fernando, Christian and all staff were excellent, food and drinks were great, and location was perfect, just down the street from the Carmel Mission which we visited

We have a short but lovely stay at the Carmel Mission Inn. It's so centrally located and we discovered the shopping center next to the parking lot. Great place for people watching and a latte. The sun even came out. Very conveniently located too.

This property is easy to access and next to a little local shopping village with food and restaurants. The rooms are very spacious, clean, with plenty of light and double curtains for a good night sleep. We spent Sunday night and unfortunately they don’t offer their usual amenities like happy hour, breakfast, coffee service, and the restaurant closes for the weekend. Looks like if you are staying Tuesday to Saturday, you get the most. I would stay here on a weekday again, we went to the little shopping village and there were many options of restaurants to choose from.

VERY pet friendly - My husband and I traveled with our 15 month old German shepherd and Mission Inn was the PAWfect choice. Large rooms with large patio and turf which made it very convenient for our dog to go outside and relieve himself. Very friendly staff and onsite restaurant was great for ordering breakfast to be eaten on our patio. Wonderful stay!

Extremely careless, rude staff at the front desk. I repeatedly asked for the EV cable for my vehicle and despite getting myself into a waiting list, I was never able to charge my car on the property. I the outlets were always occupied by people who brought their own cable. They should instead manage the spots and allow their guests to charge it on site. The renovations were half-done, the hallways, the walls are from 1950. They did not replace windows and so if your room is facing the pool, you hear everything. poor isolation. Don't go there.

Older renovation. Stylish although showing wear and tear. Clean rooms but small. The staff was trying very hard. Be aware of the add on parking and resort fees. Little improvements would go a long way for this place. I reserved a "sitting area" room with couch, got a tiny room with a single desk chair. Restaurant was just bar food. The hotel rented out their top floor suites to large groups that used P.A. systems on the patio above my room! Two nights in a row, two different suites. The same groups showed up for breakfast in the resaraunt and overwhelmed the kitchen staff. As a result my experience was not good.

It was clean but the room wa dark with very little light from any of the lamps and lights in the room. Also only one elevator worked during our stay, very slow to get an elevator and all most impossible during peak time in the morning and evening.

Noisy, didn’t make up my room one day out of three, over-priced with lots of fees for services I didn’t even want or use (pool, gym, etc.) plus extra for parking.

This property is close to Carmel, but it is in between 2 shopping centers and a gas station. Not what we were expecting. If you stay here, request a room facing the pool. There is a $30 parking fee per day which made the rate more than I feel it should be. We were looking at the parking lot in a just okay room. $335 total for the night should only be spent at a property in a great area with a nice view. The pool was enjoyable and the staff nice, however. We checked out early and stayed in Pacific Grove.

We came with our 1 year old and everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were wonderful and they made us all very comfortable and happy to stay at the Carmel Mission Inn. The food at Shearwater Tavern was excellent and I would highly recommend. My husband was so impressed with the service that he complimented me choice of hotel
