We loved the hotel architectural feel of Palm Springs, cleanliness and service. The happy hour at Shearwater Tavern was great. Every dish was made to perfection and all items were reasonably priced. We also enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting, pool and jacuzzi. The hotel room was spacious, and Clean and the gym had plenty to get a quick workout.

Are charged a parking fee per night, but then are not told of local events being held at the property. Had to drive around the lot for 15 minutes and when we to front desk that’s when we were told about a locals event being held there and being the reason we couldn’t find parking. We were tired from a long day out and wanted to go to bed and we were told we could park off the property at the safeway and try coming back once the event was done. We had alerted the front desk staff that we were parked in a disabled space at the moment to be able to get down to talk, as there was absolutely no other area to stop to get down and ask about parking. As we were talking to front desk EMS and firetrucks had arrived for an inebriated guest from the event being hosted and we were now unable to move from the spot to figure out another parking situation. We went back in and alerted the staff to which we were told that we were ok to leave the car there for the night. We were still extremely hesitant as we understand the legalities of a disabled spot and the possible fines. Still being hesitant, we confirmed with her a couple times and were completely reassured. Morning comes, and as we were heading out a police car is leaving the property after giving us an almost $300 ticket for the parking. When trying to tell the front desk what we had been told the night before, we were completely dismissed and told that it was our problem not theirs. Never coming back. Ruined our trip

Great place to stay in Carmel. We stayed for my daughter's wedding which was at a nearby wedding event center. The staff were awesome and friendly. The location is easy to get to and near many conveniences, food, shopping, etc. It's also near the beach, great dinning, and other tourist attractions. The hotel also has a nice restaurant, bar, and fire pit seating area for enjoying an evening cocktail. I recommend staying here for any occasion.

Nice experience

The staff and accommodations were excellent. I thought it was cheeky to charge for parking in what is essentially a motel. I also would have appreciated a few more complimentary items like morning coffee and water in the lobby. Overall, a nice experience.

Very clean and spacious! Swimming pool and tub was clean and nice! Service was great! Only issue was extra daily charge $30 and tax for parking and $10 amenities plus tax Honestly $35 a night just to park in an open space parking space is ridiculously high This is not ritz carlton Only thing I was disappointed about was the extra pay for parking!!

Traveling to visit family, first room ventilation unit incredibly noisy, did not sleep all night! Staff easily accommodated my changing to another room (with no assistance). Rooms dated and somewhat uncomfortable, no desk or place to kick back other than bed. Resturant service great, food not the best. Great location between other restaurants! Since convenient to family will probably stay there again, but would want some other type of room.

Cute modern rooms with thoughtful touches such as sitting areas in rooms, ear plugs for thin walls, robes. It was located next to a cute shopping and dining area called the barnyard which was convenient but it did get loud with the music playing until past midnight. Parking was tough to find at night and the hot tub was always full. Staff was polite and always helpful.
