We always love to stay at Le Chateau Montebello because of its old world charm, the old fashioned elevators and quirky rooms. There’s lots to do in the summer. The nearby Montebello golf course is beautiful - check out the golf and dine package if it’s available. Also be sure to stop by the Fromagerie Montebello for its wonderful cheeses.

Super stay. The blanket was not that clean but everything else was perfect.

Chateau Montebello is absolutely delightful. The stunning historic log structure, picturesque riverside views, beautifully landscaped grounds and excellent restaurants all combine to make a perfect holiday experience. The rooms and bathrooms are larger than expected in an older hotel. Some of the other amenities we enjoyed were the indoor and outdoor pools, and the hiking trails. We plan to return to experience it in winter. The nearby village of Montebello also has a great selection of good restaurants.

Beautiful setting on the Ottawa River, lovely walking/jogging trails. Food was just ok and very expensive in my opinion. My room was fine but dated.
