Location not up to par with other HI Express'
Usually have great stays at Holiday Inn Express', but This location needs some work. The room floor lamp needs to be replaced. Previous guests had abused it and somebody's solution was to lean the lamp onto the back of the chair so it stands up. The no-slip in the shower was worn off, so extra care was needed while in the shower. There was no floor towel for outside the shower, so a hand towel was improvised. The breakfast area was very neat and tidy, and the staff did a great job.

Our room was actually quite filthy. I cleaned the bathroom myself before any use of it. Even the door to our room was disgusting. It looked as though someone spilt food/drink all down the front of it. The room smelt stale and musty. When I approached staff for an extra bag for wet clothes, I was met with EXTREMELY rude attitude. I didn’t ask for anything else… just an extra bag for wet suits. They wouldn’t turn the splash pad area on for my kids either. No explanation. Just didn’t do it.
