There were 2 peewee hockey teams staying there. The little brats were playing hockey in the hallway and extremely noisy.

The room was nice and clean. However, checking in had to wait for the employee to get off her vell phone. Groups of kids were there, should have had a room away fro. Them, running i. Hallways and slamming doors at all hours of the night. Breakfast was crap, workers were too lazy to maintain and refill empty items like eggs, milk, fruit and waffle mix. Will stay elsewhere.

Key trouble

I had trouble with the room key, the maintenance person came by and tried to help but after trying 3 times I had to move to another room. Had some trouble with the card again but after two times it worked. The staff was fantastic!

Not as quiet as hoped

Room was very nice. They put us on the 4th floor, the reasoning behind this was several hockey teams were in town fir tournament. They were looking out for our quietness to be maximized. However we didn't realize that the highway noise was so loud and made sleeping a struggle. Also the walls between the rooms were thin. The couple having "a romp" was clearly heard. The people at the desk were exceptional. Breakfast had more selections than anyone would hope for and very tasty.

Sub-Par for a Hampton Inn

It was a standard Hampton Inn so I thought I knew what to expect. The furnishings were extremely dated and cleanliness was not up to “Hilton” standards. I thought this was odd given maple grove is a very high class area. Other hotels in the area are much nicer and have better service. I had to book this one last minute however do to changes in travel plans. I travel a lot for work so I generally know what to expect out of different hotel tiers. I would say this is below average for a Hampton Inn. It’s right next to the highway, dated, lacks amenities, and room cleanliness was lacking. There’s a lot better options in Maple Grove.

It was a brief stay but it’s my new place when in the area even if I bring the beagle next time. Very clean, comfortable and courteous. Even breakfast is actual breakfast.
