Overall great location, comfortable lobby, clean room, comfortable bed and warm blanket. Heat was not working in room. Only blower fan was working. Went to bed thinking we were still chilled from being outside. Temps were -4f with -20 degree windchill. Woke up at 6:30 am freezing. Tossed and turned for a bit and then decided to head home. We were checked out by 7:45am to shower and get ready for the day at home. When I told the front desk on check out, so the next guest didn’t have issues, she seemed unphased. Who knows how long it hasn’t been working with that response.

We stayed in for a Pokémon Regional. Once we got our keys, they didn’t work. The battery for our lock was dead, so we had to wait for them to fix that. Then, the elevators broke. First it was one, then it was the other. So each time you rode the elevator, it was like a 20 minute ordeal going up and down every floor, with no stairs being an option. Unfortunately, this isn’t a SpringHill I think I’d go back to.

This is a tough review as we really like this hotel chain, but I have to review it based on our 2 night stay. Large room which was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Very good breakfast with a nice assortment of hot and cold items. Fitness room was adequate with free weights, a couple treadmills, ellipticals, and a bike. The free popcorn in the lobby was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the heat was not working in the building, which made for a very cold lobby and breakfast area. The heat also did not work in the room, which wasnt a huge deal, except we couldnt even turn the unit off...and it blew cool (not cold) air the entire stay, and made a clicking noise all night. Hot water went out the 2nd day, which made for a very unpleasant shower. Light bulb was out in the lamp by the chair, which was taken care of immediately when I mentioned it. To be fair, much of this was beyond their control, and they did send a letter to our room stating the issues with the heat (it was a very cold weekend). Not the best stay at one of our favorite chains, BUT.......we would stay here again knowing that they would have these issues taken care of. Without these issues, would give it a 10/10. Simply rating it on our stay this time.
