2/10 Terrible

Travelled with family

I stayed here with my kids from October 30 to November 2, 2025, but ended up checking out early because I didn’t feel safe. When you first walk in, the front desk is behind bulletproof glass — that’s not something you expect when traveling with kids, and it immediately gave off a bad vibe.
The room itself was bare-bones. There was a table, but no chair — nowhere for us to sit and eat except on the beds. The TV didn’t work, and overall it just felt empty and uncomfortable.
On the first night, both of my key cards stopped working. When I went to the lobby, there was no staff around — just a note saying they were “helping another guest.” I had to wait about 15 minutes with my kids before anyone came back so we could even get into our room.
The second night was terrifying. We were woken up in the middle of the night by what sounded like a violent domestic dispute that went on for over 20 minutes. It was loud, angry, and honestly felt dangerous — I was genuinely afraid something could spill over or even that a shot could come through the wall. We left first thing in the morning and didn’t stay the last night.
I would strongly recommend avoiding this Motel 6, especially if you’re traveling with kids. It didn’t feel safe, and the lack of staff presence made everything worse. Spend a little extra and stay somewhere that doesn’t make you fear for your family’s safety.
