We stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking Ocean Avenue. The view and the people watching were fantastic. Our AC broke early on, but the staff fixed it quickly and efficiently. The noise is there, but it did not bother us (although it might bother others who are more sensitive to that). Fun 1950s vibe in the room, with a wonderfully updated bathroom. Perfect location from which to go to the beach or around town. We had a great experience.

This hotel is generally ok, the staff were not brilliant, with the exception of the bar tender at the pool and main bar. The biggest issue is they charge you $45 per day for valet parking, knowing it is Spring Break and you have to walk a block and a half to get your car from a curb side vendor. It’s a complete rip off. I would advise folks not to stay at this hotel during March EVER. The room was ok, the view lovely, but the rip off parking and exorbitant bar prices just doesn’t add up in an average hotel. The staff at breakfast need reeducation in customer service and there was never enough staff on reception. Not a hotel I’d recommend and not one of return to, sorry.

The balcony faced the beach walk which was excellent for people watching. We got discounts for the restaurant nearby. Pool was excellent, staff very friendly, room was clean. Great centrally located hotel!

Really lovely property - you definitely get the wow factor when you arrive in the lobby. Rooms are nice but nowhere near as flash as the lobby, and dare I say a little minimalist. But staff are amazing. Location is also good, and surprisingly quiet (on the Collins side). Look out for eating out discounts from the hotel aswell.

The staff was polite. I felt safe at the hotel. The doors lock at 7 pm and you need key to access. Its close to the beach and to nearby restaurants and nightlife. One thing they need to consider is getting new towels in the rooms and at the pool. They were torn and looked over used. Also, even though they were on top of cleaning I noticed some hair in the shower. Other than that I enjoyed my stay there. All the people there are polite.

Amidst a countless number of hotels in South Beach, the Tony Hotel was a great value for the price. The staff worked hard around the clock to ensure that its guests enjoyed their stay. This is less of a party resort than it is a relaxing place to stay. The rooftop pool was small, but beautiful, with ample amounts of sunshine at all hours. I would recommend this budget friendly hotel for anyone looking to get away for a few days. The staff were incredibly nice, the gym better than most, and the happy hour worth the price alone. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a fantastic property right on ocean drive. It didn’t bother us but the fun of south beach can be a bit loud at night, but hey it’s south beach!!
