The room was nice, but they had a lot of extra charges. We had to pay close to $200 in "resort fees" and it cost us $140 to park our car at the hotel. The extra fees charged by the hotel were as much as the room. It felt like a scam.

We had a fantastic stay at UPSUN Hotel Miami. The room was exceptionally clean — to the point where you immediately notice that fresh, deep-clean scent upon arrival. It genuinely set the tone for the stay. The shower products were lovely and felt like a thoughtful, high-quality touch rather than an afterthought. We stayed as a family with two adults and two children under 12, and the room with two beds worked perfectly for us. Spacious, comfortable, and very well laid out. What stood out most is that the rooms look exactly like the photos — no surprises — and they were immaculately clean when we checked in, which isn’t always the case when traveling. There is currently a small renovation underway in the lobby, but it didn’t impact our stay at all. In fact, we were told a small café is being added, which sounds like it will be a great addition once complete. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and we truly hope to have the opportunity to book a room here again in the future. Highly recommend.

The hotel is in a convenient location, the hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Overall a good hotel, it felt like a 3 star hotel rather than 4 star. The issue was with Expedia and the hidden parking fees. Ensure you read all T&C's before booking.

Nice hotel for a chill time

It was our second time staying this year at Upsun. It is a nice hotel and the staff are very nice. We enjoyed the pool, the beach chairs at the beach, and the bikes. There are lots of good food options nearby. There is also a free city trolley that runs about two blocks from the hotel so we used that also.
