Very disappointing experience. I arrived the hotel at 6:30 pm after 5 hours on the road with 5 month old child to learn that Expedia cancelled my booking! Why? I booked a new reservation and Eden Roc put a $1,500 hold on my credit card immediately. Sadly, Expedia does not provide a phone number on the confirmation or itinerary nor on their website. Expedia answered my call the next morning, but the hotel was not answering so I had to physically go to the lobby to get Expedia and the front desk to talk. Getting Expedia to agree to a refund took a chunk of time and effort. Hours lost and aggravation. Long story short, the rug smelled bad, the furniture is worn, the in-room safe was in error mode 2x leaving me no access to my valuables The ceiling paint in the shower is peeling, the phone in the room is staticky and sometimes there is no answer when you call for assistance. There is no button to call the front desk or housekeeping. There is only a button to call the "valet". Valet parking is good if you have ample time to wait for your car to be brought to you. Otherwise, you will be late for reservations or appointments. The concierge answers only sometimes. Weather was terrible, yet they charged us a daily resort fee per person. The slippers Eden Roc provided in the room at my request, are cheap plastic flip flops. Check out was an hour-long process. Only one elevator of 4 was working. The staff tries hard to please. Eden Roc and Expedia need to step up their game.

We booked the hotel to enjoy the spa area for our recovery. The sauna was too cold and this was due to the gaps at rhe glas door to each side. And they know about it. The steam room was way too hot and everyone ran out after mac 5 min because it was even hard to sit there. And they knew about it. And the pressure shower would have been nice but the temperature couldnt be adjusted and it was on hot. Also not usable… the only thing working was the jacuzzi and the plunge pool. For sure the jacuzzi was full of people…. we left frustrated
