I know what to expect when I'm checking in ..it's a poshmlittle art deco spot with cool little touches such as the little garden areas and several intimate pools. Nice spot that may not have an ocean view but it's right in Collins and has a rooftop area . Surprisingly quiet room though. For all the action somehow the architecture remains sound and quiet

This is my second time staying at the Catalina Hotel. But this time was worse. The shower wasn’t clean so well, hair was still left on the toilet, and I noticed the second day of me staying there. There was little brown bugs falling from the lamp in the room. I had to go to the front desk and is somebody can clean or if I can change rooms. Instead, they brought somebody in my room to spray some type of bug spray around the room, but didn’t actually clean up the little brown bugs everywhere. you could see their wings falling on the lamps table and it started to smell. I usually don’t do reviews but this hotel was disgusting.

There were stains on the sheets as well as pillowcases. So i think that could have been improved even if it means throwing those away and replacing them. I did see a couple of roaches in the bathroom and there was no shower door or curtain.

i did not like expedia rent piece rap room for the price they did i could have got a double queen jr suite for 95.00 per night an stay would have been perfect. very disappointed expedia
