The staff was courteous, but the room temperature controls were not operable and it was freezing. When we asked about turning the temperature up (It felt like it was 55 degrees) when the thermostat was saying 80 - they said they have to send someone in to go up in the ceiling and switch it to heat. We didn't want the heat on, we just wanted the room at about 67-68 degrees similar to the outside temperature during the day. Also, the tub drained so slowly that by the end of a shower, you were ankle deep in water. It smelled a little mold/musty in the bathroom and the hallways had a strong cigarette smoke smell, not what I'm used to staying at a Marriot but maybe when it's a Delta Hotel by Marriott that makes the difference vs. a Marriott property?

The staff were very helpful and accommodating! When I mentioned at check-in that I wasn't sure how my puppy would do in the elevator, they put us in a ground floor room right near the side door. It was a great spot for us, with grass nearby for our walks.

I paid for handicap room with 2 queen size beds, when I checked in they said there was no room available and I would have to take a king size bed with a portable bed brought in. This was not what I paid for, I was offered a room with 2 queen size beds, thats what i had to accept. I stayed at this hotel because my granddaughters wedding reception was being held there.
