Even though I requested a room with a view, far in advance, I always get stuck with a crappie view. The front desk clerks always have this look of ‘l just don’t care’ attitude. And I’ve stayed there about four years.

I rate this low because relative to the price it was sadly needing maintenance. No ice machine on either the four or third floor worked and the in-room refrigerator was not operating. For a hotel charging a premium over nearby hotels in Raleigh, you would expect better. Bed was comfortable and the room quiet.

Just traveling through and enjoyed it.

Clean, maintained inn with outdoor fire pit and pool off I-40/I-85 and NC-119 with a good variety at the provided breakfast. My wife is picky about cleanliness and had no issues. Would stay again with this brand.
