Incredible value and class near the park
We grew up on the East side of the park, but everyone of our friends who came to visit us asked how on earth we found a room at this rate in this address for that kind of money. Clean, pleasant, the rooms aren't huge unless you pay for the upgrade but if you need location, a soft clean place to sleep, and a bathroom it's awesome.

This was our first return to our favorite hotel in NYC after Covid. We were expecting changes afer five years. But to our surprise, the hotel retained all the lovely qualities we loved from before, cozy, low-key with great service and people. The restaurant on the first floor, Nice Matin is as good as ever, at least the breakfast which we had on Sunday. The only thing we didn't like was that the renovations replaced all the red colors in the rooms, the wall paper and the curtains that we associated with coziness and old-world charm. The gray and beige, while popular and modern, took away the personality the hotel brings.

Beautiful, spacious queen suite—two queen beds, sitting room. We enjoyed 12th floor quiet corner room. Love the connecting restaurant, Nice Matin. Front desk staff was welcoming and accommodating.
