Good Value with Room for Improvement

The room was quite nice overall, offering everything we needed. The bathroom was well-equipped with all the essentials, and the room itself, while basic, had two beds with ample space for our cases and personal items. While the beds were a bit on the smaller side and not the most comfortable for me, others in our group seemed to have no issues with them. One major downside was the noise from water running above our room throughout the night, which disrupted my sleep. The shower, however, was a highlight—spacious and comfortable, I could wash without feeling cramped. The lighting in the room was a bit confusing. The lights were not positioned ideally, and it would have been better if they were placed more centrally between the two beds so both people could reach them. Also, not all lights were functional from each side of the bed, which added to the inconvenience. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with some minor annoyances, but the room met most of our needs.

mediocre experience

I do not have high expectations and don't mind small rooms or unfinished ceilings. I understand that this is what comes with the price in central Manchester. However, in my room, I was unable to adjust the water temperature in the shower because the knob was completely detached. Additionally, the safety drain in the sink was clogged with slime and dirt.

Weekday stay

Lovely hotel and friendly staff, room was compact but clean and well equipped. Bed was comfy but the pillows were awful! Wish I hadn’t paid for breakfast as a vegetarian there was very little choice and I ended up with a tiny pot of yoghurt. There are lots of other cheaper outlets close by with a wider variety of choices for breakfast.
