Rooms look great initially, but on closer inspection, need a little bit of TLC. Breakfast was nice, although the fried eggs they brought out were all hard. Coffee machine was poor, latte's and flat whites were identical in looks and taste. For the price we paid for a Crown Plaza Hotel, don't think it was worth it. Room needed updating in the finer details, general paintwork, bathroom grouting around bath and shower cubical was missing in parts, loose bathroom door handle. The communal areas outside the rooms look tired too, carpet looked stained and walls/doors had scrapes and dirty marks on. No complaint made as we had a decent sleep overall, but we would not stay again for the above reasons.

We didn’t have breakfast. We arrived early on Friday we had two rooms booked. Man on Reception was so helpful. Let us get in our rooms early and made an effort to say hello to my kids. Lovely man and started our visit perfect. Rooms both lovely, clean and loved our stay. I’m originally from Manchester and now live in Nottinghamshire. We will be back to the hotel as it’s the best. Location wonderful, staff outstanding and bar staff so friendly.
