We chose Pueblo Bonita Rose resort because it is listed as a 4+ star all-inclusive resort, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of those expectations. We reserved what was described as a luxury suite. Instead, we found a dark, outdated room with old, stained furniture. The bathroom and kitchen sink had visible mold, and the entire suite carried a strong mold odor, making it an unpleasant environment throughout our stay. This was not at all the standard of comfort and cleanliness one would expect from a resort of your rating. Additionally, while your listing promotes the resort as “all-inclusive,” we were surprised and frustrated to encounter surcharges at two of the four on-site restaurants—ironically, the only ones offering quality food. The overall food at the other restaurants was mediocre at best, again falling short of the standards we anticipated. On top of this, the onsite store engaged in what felt like blatant price gouging. Charging nearly $50 for a basic necessity such as sunscreen is unreasonable and leaves us feeling taken advantage of, especially in a resort destination where such items are essential. The one positive aspect of our stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They did their best to provide good service, despite the disappointing conditions of the accommodations and food.

The resort is very well maintained and I’ve stayed there several times and always very pleased. This year the food was just very average and the recent flooding from the hurricane has left the ground floor rooms needing mildew treatments. Management needs to institute a policy about saving chairs by the pool. Too many customers stake out a chair early each morning and don’t show up to claim their chair until much later in the day. It’s hard to get a pool chair to enjoy.

This was my our second time at Rose this year. We went as a family in May and then as a couple in October. Resort was consistently good for food and room. Resort is clean and maintained. We went to Blanco for breakfast and lunch plus enjoyed their pool one day. We also took free shuttle to Sunset and enjoyed a pool day there. We are happy with this resort and we will be back.

Second time here. Staff is 10/10, from the reception to the beach. Everyone on staff is so kind and attentive!! Any comment that the staff is not nice are just plain lying or were difficult guests! Please be nice to the staff! There’s really nothing like having a beautiful swimmable beach at your footstep. Lots of kids & families in the water. Super fun! Also lots of vendors though so be prepared. Weather was beautiful. Room was always clean. Housekeeper did such a good job of cleaning every time we were away! A/C worked great in our room. Nice view of the pool. I do wish there were more food options at the restaurants at blanco & rose. The food is good, but after being here a second time and eating off the same menus for 5 days, it kind of got a little old. The menus need a change or new additions, even if just on alternating nights. The buffet is a hit or miss, was not our favorite. Not lots of activities at the resorts. Not really any shows, etc. There really does need to be a bar that is open later (like at least until midnight/1am) with music or something for the younger adult crowds (21+). The resorts (blanco, rose, and sunset) pretty much are all asleep by 9pm. Which makes sense when most of the guest are about 60+ y/o or families with kids. You do have to leave the resort to do anything past 9pm, which kinda sucks when staying at an all-inclusive in Cabo. Overall I do love Pueblo Bonito and would recommend.

This hotel is very dated. The food options were not so great. The restaurants with better meal options cost extra at a minimum of $50. Ordering room service seemed to be a lot better. The beds are comfortable. No night life or fun evening events for guests.
