Room was clean, the bed medium soft but I slept well. Took awhile for heater to work. I had forgotten that the room has no microwave. Could have gotten hot tea in the office. Staff was very nice. A few cosmetic issues that I will share with management separately.

The staff was great. The room needs improvements. There was quite a gap around the door which was drafty. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels or clothes. There was only the mirror in the bathroom, none in the main room. Nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom (floating shelves would be nice). No iron or ironing board. Only one nightstand which would be fine if it was only one person staying in the room, but with two people, they need a table on each side of the bed.** it’s not advertised as having such, but it would be very convenient to have a small coffee maker and a microwave in the room.

Water was turned off to the toilet because it kept running. There was no place to hang clothes. Staff left the front desk unattended (to go get coffee off the premise) while people were trying to check out.

We stayed at this motel one night because we wanted an affordable place to stay while she was moving and it didn't feel like a stable enviroment. The review for this place was equal to Courtyard by Marriott which is about two blocks away so I went ahead and booked it. There were unsupervised children playing on the second floor walkways at 1:45am- bouncing balls and running and in the morning I could hear people fighting. I believe this motel provides a safe alternative for unhoused families and for that I am very supportive but as a place for a mother/daughter (my mom is 83) to land while moving it just did not meet our needs for safely or calm of any kind. The front desk person was lovely and accomodating and absolutely did her best for us. My bed had a large wet spot on it that was soaked through to the mattress and the entire place smelled so strong of perfumed room scent that I could taste it after I left. Also, Continental Breakfast consists of pre packaged, non refrigerated long shelf life foods. We stayed over on a Thursday and truthfully I wanted to get out of there by Friday because the weekend was sure to bring more cars to the parking lot which the rooms are wrapped around. Also, there was never not the scent of pot smoke which permeated the entire property. I find it enitrely appropriate to remind people including myself that you get what you pay for. The Marriott was like the Ritz Carlton after one night at the Sojourn. Be safe and well.

The room was comfy and clean. My only complaint is that the shower didn’t get hot the water was warm at best. But other than that we enjoyed our stay.

No place to hang up clothes. Electrical plugs were few so charging electronics was challenging and plugging in CPAP meant moving the end table. Bed was comfortable. Room was huge. In room air conditioner was noisy. No coffee maker and although the continental breakfast had a good selection of various breads and burritos along with one flavor mini yogurts, on weekends it doesn’t start until 7 am and staff will not open the door early. This delayed the start of the day. Front desk staff was pleasant when we checked in.

Someone’s thong was behind the restroom door, I heard the person above all night long stomping. Very cold room, contacted front desk and was advised it was next to ac unit which was not in the door
