Very beautiful little place with charming staff. Some minor inconveniences only due to ongoing finishing touches of remodeling, but they were gracious and caring to not let it annoy anyone. We'll definitely stay again one day.

Lumea by the Sea was such a pleasant surprise! It’s not your typical hotel, it feels more like a thoughtfully curated retreat. The design is modern and minimal with a calming aesthetic that instantly makes you feel relaxed and at home. It’s located just a few blocks from the beach and close to great coffee spots, restaurants, and shops, which made exploring Long Beach super easy. Even though it’s in the heart of downtown, it’s tucked away enough to still feel quiet and private. The room was spotless, with great natural light and all the little details that make a stay special — cozy linens, quality toiletries, and even a record player! You can tell they really put love into creating the space. Already planning to come back on my next trip. If you're into boutique vibes and a laid-back experience, this place is a total win.
