The major shortcoming was the condition of the mattress in the room. It was probably old but definitely NOT CLOSE TO BEING FIRM TO ANY DEGREE Indeed, it was so wrap around squishy soft that I had to move to the firmer seating and cover it with hopefully clean bath towers in order be able to get any sleep at all. My second bad experience with Holiday Inn Express. Not like the old days. NEVER AGAIN. The major plus was the breakfast offering which was quite good. My second
