Too noisy. Had to call security several times all three nights we stayed there. People opening and closing doors and talking loud in the halls. Wooden floors in the hallways, door is light and has slits on the edges that light and noise gets in the room. Couldn’t sleep all night

Waited a long time to check in, and they gave me an uncleaned room. As a courtesy for the inconvenience, they waived the $15 parking fee. Then, now in the cleaned room, the vanity faucet slashed water everywhere, and the coffee maker didn’t work. Not the best stay I had in this place.

Check in did not start at 4pm for us. we got there at 4:20pm room was not ready. We were told to wait because the manager had to go up to the suite room to check “what was going on” with our room. One of us asked why we are waiting, the response is there was an issue with the reservation?? We did not have this problem yet booking through Expedia. We finally got our room exactly at 5:20pm. They were “nice” enough to cover our parking $15 (we were there for only one night) which i appreciate but nothing else that covers 1hr loss on our room until we asked for later checkout time 11am->12pm Some of the staffs were cool Room was good for 6 people but some parts of the room was still dirty (like the floor with dust and crumbs?) and it reeked bleach. We had to open the windows to air it out I usually go through the entire room to make sure nothing is broken or dirty and damaged from previous visits.. The bottom of the inside cabinets that holds the refrigerator and microwave had major scratches and damages with white grime(?) and black tape was on the damaged parts to i guess cover it up?? but even that seems like it was deteriorating over time. One of the air vents on the ceiling were missing screws and i have no clue how it was still holding onto the lid?? The people above us stomped nonstop from the moment we got our room until past 11pm I wasnt people walking stomp, it was a full on testing how much can the floor take type of stomps I do not wish to come back

We stayed at The Anza Hotel in Calabasas for a short overnight visit and had a very good experience overall. We had reserved a premium room, which appeared updated with a modern design and attractive furniture. It was definitely comfortable and one of the nicer rooms we have stayed in recently. The staff we interacted with were friendly, and we appreciated receiving complimentary parking as well as a complimentary late checkout—both of which were genuinely helpful given our brief stay. The hotel’s location near The Commons at Calabasas is also a strong advantage. The hotel itself is smaller than it looks in photos, and the lobby and common areas are not as spacious or upscale as they appear online. However, the quality of our room and the overall ease of the stay made it a positive experience.
