No Sleep, No Service, No Follow-Up
We stayed here 8/1/25 the night before a family funeral. Around 8:00pm we began hearing the persistent sound of a woman's voice in the room next to ours. We couldn't make out any words, but it sounded like an audio book or some kind of meditation tape.
At 2:00am, I discovered that our room phone was dead and had to call front desk from my cell. The clerk offered to move us, but having unpacked already and being exhausted from our long drive, we declined. He said he would take care of it.
At 3:00am I went to the front desk to follow up, and the clerk kept changing his story — first he said that knocked on the room's door and then called the guest with no responses, then he claimed he "wasn't allowed" to disturb guests. Finally, he gave me a business card with an email address and said to contact the general manager.
A nonworking phone is a safety issue, and guest comfort was clearly not a priority. I emailed the GM twice requesting partial restitution and never received a reply. No accountability at any level.
If guest comfort and safety matter to you, I recommend choosing another hotel.
