Well what can i say disgraceful

Where to start after following directions giving by yourselves only to find road closed for long-term roadworks as there was a cup final match about to start we had to pay £25 to park in someones drive we walked to the hotel to check in they weren't very helpful at all even though i had informed them i was disabled and couldnt walk far abd needed the use of my mobility scooter we left the hotel feeling down hearted and annoyed as they said even if we waited for the match to finish there was probably no chance if getting parked near by so with that in mind after the match it took best part if an hour to get back to the car and sat nav was saying 1 1/2 to get around to hotel we decided to just drive back up north and go home

Hotel was clean and room was nice. My daughter has a nut allergy and when we asked at breakfast we were told there was no allergen menu and that was it. So not very helpful.

We had a great stay the room was big clean and very quiet to say it was on a main road. We don’t eat here although food was available at an extra charge. We were attending the Troubadour theatre and this was the perfect place to stay. Everything was in walking distance. Parking is tight and pre booking is a must but safe and a good pricex

Mixed Bag!

It is great that parking is offered, but beware, it is very narrow and cars do seem to park everywhere and in awkward positions! We were allowed to check in early which was great. Our room key worked everytime on the third attempt. This was baffling. Walking in to the room we were impressed. It was spacious and seemed to be to a very high standard. Unfortunately, on closer inspection there was damage to the wardrobe door which had tried to be rectified with glue, some of the curtain was torn, and the fridge did not work and had a bit of a funky smell. There was also no plug provided for the deep bath, so a trip to reception was made for this, which was provided quickly (although the wrong type and had to use a spoon to remove it.) The bed was comfortable and the shower very powerful. Breakfast was.... interesting. Walked in, asked for room number, then that was it. No tables were laid. A few continental bits were laid out at the far end of the room. There was a miss match of plates, and even some christmas napkins on offer (it is the end of February). I am pretty sure on the website it claims a cooked breakfast is offered, but this was not offered to us. Like the title states, a bit of a mixed bag!

Not the best stay

Very nice hotel, clean and looked really nice. Has a nice big TV. There was no heating in the bedroom so had to use a space heater that was already provided for us so I’m assuming they knew of the issue and shacked us up in there anyways. Bathroom was good, didn’t have any soap for hands so had to go down and request. Hot water didn’t work for a while, host stated to leave the water running for 20 minutes and then eventually got hot. There was no bath plug so actually enjoy a bath so couldn’t even do that.

Good place or work trip or couples

This hotel was very comfortable. I stayed whilst commuting to work and it is just a short walk to the tube station. What stood out was the high quality amenities and bathroom suite. The hotel had a luxury feel and I felt comfortable and peaceful in the room. Overall a pleasant stay and will be sure to make this my regular stay for work trips in London or even as a couples trip.

4-Star Hotel? Didn't feel like it!

Full English breakfast reminded of Little Chef. Surface-level of cleanliness appeared good, but I noticed too many red wine stains on the carpet. Car park provided great security (gates and CCTV), but was poorly lit and maintained. Staff were friendly, but poorly presented themselves with their own street clothing and no name tags.
