Great hotel and location

This was a great location for us to attend a concert at the O2. Very nice hotel, warm welcome and complimentary upgrade to one bedroom suite as 3 of us staying. Cute coffee shop across the road which we used as didn’t have breakfast included in our stay.

Hotel is welcoming, staff are very friendly and helpful, it is lovely looking over the river. Room was nice / not the nicest I’ve had for the price but clean and comfortable, Capet was a bit stained but they have a very light coloured carpet which looked like they’d cut a bit out of before and replaced and hair drier had a mind of its own, it’s also attached to the wall which wasn’t easy to use. Shower and breakfast very nice and thank you to the man who was ensuring it was all full and said good morning each day he was very welcoming. Location isn’t easy to come and go it’s actually quite a trek to get to and from the o2 or anywhere else, uber is in the lobby which is quite handy but we found they wanted a tip and we don’t really carry cash anymore so that’s something to bear in mind. I didn’t read about the £100 damages that was held or the bar drinks being £25 for 2 Bacardi’s and coke but that is the general price in London these days it seems.

Room with a view

I’ve had warmer welcomes at an unmanned self check in desk. Three staff members all staring at their screens with vagrant expressions that eventually looked up at me and waited for me to speak like I had interrupted them reading their redundancy notice (wouldn’t be a bad idea). The room however was spectacular with a view of the o2 from the bed and the beautiful bath. Still, first impressions count for me and being treated so rudely at a very expensive hotel marred my stay.

Expensive and poor experience

Hotel was loud. Doors to room are heavy and when they are opened or shut they are very loud. Room next door kept me up until nearly one in the morning. Staff are not very approachable. Room was clean, big and great views of the o2 but for the price would not book again

The hotel is nice. But there is a £30 per day charge for guests to use the hotel carpark. We are VIP but never received our f&b discount. We purchased bar drinks, but we were not allowed to drink them in the conservatory as we weren’t eating. Not impressed with the overall service for those reasons
