The room was well kept and spacious. The staff are very courteous and helped with whatever we needed. Hotel is situated in a great location, just a short walk to the tube and to Westminster.

Having previously sampled afternoon tea at The Royal Horseguards hotel we decided to stay a few nights as a special celebration. Our 3 nights in this wonderful hotel, a magnificent building with lovely features (especially the stairs), spacious rooms and a view over the gardens and river which was spectacular (especially at night when the buildings were illuminated), was a joy. The staff we interacted with were brilliant; professional, polite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. From the first greeting at the front door (the likes of Prevez, Osmand and others whose names unfortunately escape me), reception (Gerald, Abeena et al), concierge (Burak, Chico, Szymon and their colleagues) to those in hospitality (including Elisabeth and Asa) and house keeping until our departure the staff enhanced our stay. I have no doubt we will return to this wonderful place and have sung the praises of The Royal Horseguards hotel, especially those working there that make the hotel special, to family and friends.

Weird bathroom that was actually a wetroom which flooded totally when shower used. Also they insist on taking £50 deposit at check in which you only get back 5 days plus after your stay.

The doorman who worked from 7.00am to 4.0pm ( he wore a flat cap to keep his bald head warm and had a salt and pepper coloured beard). He was the first person we saw as we approached the door and his welcome was so friendly. He made us feel so at home before we even entered the building. He continued to greet us so warmly every time we went out. He was the star on a very impressive hotel.

I thought i would love this hotel but unfortunately i didn’t. Hotel it is at a good location, and staff clean/fix the room everyday which is nice. My room wasn’t ready so i had to wait about 30-35 minutes, not too long of a wait but i really wanted to rest. I booked the deluxe queen room but sadly the bed was quite small for two people, i have ‘vip access’ but wasnt offered any upgrade or any benefits with it. Not sure of its because an old building but was able to hear all the noise from outside, the TV wasn’t working properly so that was a bit annoying as well. Doormen were all so welcoming which was nice as well. Overall i didn’t hate this place but didn’t love it either.
