Breakfast disappointment

Breakfast service was poo with many items either missing or not being replaced quickly enough. Cutlery was difficult to find and tables were not being cleared.

Nice hotel but disapointed by the room

Nice hotel, staff were OK but I was given an accessible room, this happens on a far too regular basis with Leonardo Hotels. Whilst the room was fine an accessible bathromm is no good for me, the sink is too low and there's no shelving or anything to put your toiletries. If it was just 1 night I could put up with it but I had 3 nights booked. The bathroom also more resembles a hospital bathroom which is not very inspiring! Also the heating didn't work so I was sent an electric heater. Again this seems to happen a lot at Leonardo hotels, although I have had this elsewhere too. I used to think that Leonardi hotels were very good and reasonably priced but lately they seem to be cutting corners which is affecting the overall experience.

Service disappointing but Clean & comfortable

I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be clean and comfortable, which is always a priority. However, there were some noticeable service issues that affected my experience. Reception was often left unattended, leading to unnecessary delays when assistance was needed. Breakfast was a real letdown. The food quality was poor, comparable to a Premier Inn breakfast, which may be fine if that’s what you expect, but I anticipated better standards. The orange juice was clearly from concentrate, not fresh, and it took 10 minutes just to get a fried egg. Additionally, many tables remained uncleared, creating an unnecessary mess and an unpleasant dining atmosphere. Overall, if you’re just looking for a clean and comfortable stay, this hotel does the job. But if service efficiency and a quality breakfast matter to you, you may want to reconsider.

Super Sunday Staff, especially Sarah

Despite a busy reception due to a local premier league football match the staff worked through it efficiently, speedily, whilst remaining professional. Special note and thanks goes to Sarah who had to put up with my booking being for a month ahead. Clearly guided me thru the re-booking and cancellation required for me to get to where I should have been. Wonderful.

I was told I had a free upgrade, I got to the room and the heating was not working and room was cold. There wasn't any change of room available and I had to sleep with two portable electric heaters brought up by staff, overall an uncomfortable night's sleep
