The Residence Inn is an excellent choice if you want to be in the Kensington area. The property is well maintained and very clean. The room size is fairly typical for London. The breakfast is excellent with almost everything you could want in both hot and cold selections. The staff is fantastic. We had an emergency during our stay and the staff was amazing in assisting us and in their empathy. Earl’s Court tube stop is a 12 minute walk. Many buses also run in the area. A large supermarket is literally next to the hotel. We highly recommend the Italian restaurant across the street.

Tesco right next door was a big plus! We had a studio on 2nd floor and a 2bedroom suite on 9th floor. Both were good. Breakfast has a good number of choices. Earls Court station is within 10 minutes of walking distance which made it really easy to get from/to Heathrow on Piccadilly line.

I really did enjoy my stay in this hotel. For London, this is a great place to stay if you don’t want to over pay for hotels. Great breakfast too.

If you’ve ever dreamed of experiencing what it’s like to slowly roast inside a malfunctioning climate control experiment, do yourself a favor and book a stay at the Residence Inn Kensington, London. Our first room’s air conditioning didn’t work — a minor inconvenience, unless you enjoy sweating through your sheets. No problem, the staff said, we’ll move you. Room two? Same story. At this point, I was almost impressed by their consistency. But wait, there’s more! After some persistence (and mild pleading), we were upgraded to a third room. And yes, dear reader, the AC was broken there too. A perfect three-for-three. When I pointed out the warm air pouring from the vents, the maintenance guy assured me the unit was “working” because, and I quote, “Can’t you hear it? It’s running.” Oh, it was running all right — just not doing anything useful. I suppose I should have thanked him for the white noise machine. Compensation? Apology? Any sense of urgency? Not a chance. The hotel staff seemed more committed to the theater of problem-solving than any actual resolution. Mercifully, the weather outside took pity on us and dropped in temperature by the third night. Nature did what the hotel could not. If you’re looking for a place with functioning air conditioning, basic accountability, or even a hint of hospitality — look elsewhere. If, however, you're training for a sweat lodge retreat, this might be your spot.

Enjoyed the hotel. Room was nice and comfortable. Staff were kind, helpful, and sweet to our 5 year old. Breakfast was good but recommend getting eggs cooked to order, which we only did our very last morning. We walked everywhere and really loved the area. Loud cars at night but wasn’t anything the hotel can help. Would stay again.

The room, especially the bathroom was not clean. Toothpaste marks on the sink. There was still cutlery in the dish washer. The walls are paper thin and kept getting woke up by the noise of others. The location is excellent for attending at the Olympia. The kitchenette in the room is fully equipped but just the dishes were not clean.
