Don’t stay here
Do not stay here. We arrived on time for check in, only to be told that we couldn’t check in as the previous customers had not left yet. No one notified us so we waited, siting on the floor for an hour before getting to our room. The staff had 4 hours to either kick them out or to notify us.. but nothing happened. The thermostat wouldn’t work, and we couldn’t turn it down so the room was way to hot, and the bed was uncomfortable. The “front desk” was not helpful and wouldn’t let us cancel our accommodation (as we waited for our room we wanted to find somewhere else to stay). Customer service was horrible. Still have not got my deposit of £300 back.

Spacious and good location.
Clean, spacious, 2 min walk from tube station. Hard to find the flat to start with and check in clerk was late. Also long process to start i.e have to fill in separate form with photo ID and a separate £500 deposit which isn’t returned until at least 14 days. Such a lovely lplace though to stay with more than I thought - except for admin would recommend

Excellent Apartment in a so-so area
This is a clean, recently refurbished apartment with a touch of modern ambiance in a so-so area.
There is an above ground train a few steps from the building (Thameslink) but it was not very busy. The beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, and washer/dryer worked as expected. If you spend most of the day out in the city and just use the apartment to sleep at night then this would work for you. Otherwise there is not much to see around the neighborhood. Lots of student housings nearby and the area is very diverse. This is not an area that you would stroll at night to hangout or enjoy the summer evening hours in, however it seemed pretty safe in general.
