Solid, safe flat for a shorter stay - great location & fantastic manager
Overall, this was a very positive stay for our little group. The flat's location was fantastic - easy access to tube stations, bus stops, and less than a 10 minute walk to Hyde Park! Very close to a main road (so, active and busy, even late at night - important when getting back after dark!), but far enough back to not hear much of the hustle and bustle.Flat itself was ok/good for us. Layout worked well. Appliances and furniture were not the best quality, but things were clean and mostly functional. This property operates a grey water recycling system, so we had to buy our water for consumption. I imagine this would be no biggie for a shorter stay - ours was over 3 weeks, so more burdensome. Would have been helpful to have access to more cleaning supplies during our time there, as well (again, fine for short stay).Mo, the property manager, was fabulous. Super responsive, helpful, very communicative. An issue came up with the refrigerator - after helping trouble-shoot things on the phone (to no avail), he hunted down a repair guy on short notice and had everything fixed in a few hours. Checked in with us regularly to make sure things were working and that we were doing alright. In sum: This is a solid, safe property that would be a great option for those looking for a shorter-term stay. The location is great, and the manager is fantastic.
