Lovely hotel, great stay

Lovely hotel ideal location for places nearby we wanted to visit. Breakfast is self service. More than enough choice and good quality. Staff lovely, friendly and welcoming. Will absolutely return for future stays. The only issue would be paint flaking from the ceiling and slight mould issues on the windowsill. Could do with a bit of tlc in places. Didn’t affect stay but overall the stay was great.

Great Hotel, great price for an overnight stay.

Was let down by an air BnB booking a few weeks before our visit. So conducted another search as myself and my 2 sons were coming to the Liverpool v Southampton match. This hotel was very reasonable which was the main reason for the booking. It was further out than the air BnB but the price made it worth it. We arrived around 11am parked the car and spoke with reception to let them know we were had arrived. Check in wasn't until 2pm but the receptionist said it was fine to leave the car in the car park. We got an Uber to the ground (£13) watched the match and walked into the City for something to eat after the game. We then caught the bus back (£2 single) which dropped us about a mile from the hotel so we had to walk the rest of the way. We then checked in around 8.15pm. On both occasions staff were polite friendly and efficient. The room is just what was needed, a double bed and a sofa bed. Tea and coffee facilities, a nice TV, ironing board/iron in the room. Bathroom has a walk in shower 🚿 Would definitely use again.

I've stayed at this hotel several times, they are dog friendly and there is plenty of parking. The area is not great looking but it is quiet and the hotel is pretty decent with good staff. This time however, for some unknown reason they put my wife and I in a room with a connecting door and we could hear everything the guy next door was saying on his phone. Also, unfortunately, on the other side of the room is the tv in the lobby and we could hear that too. So not the best experience this time.

Super friendly

Amazing. Was going to stay for one night but stayed for two. Two different room, the room on the 2nd floor was slightly better than the accessible one on the ground floor but both beds were comfortable . Staff excellent. Food amazing

Not the best stay...

Booked in to wrong room with different group, it was on the ground floor with an unlockable window. it smelt though there was an attempt to rid this. We changed rooms and things were better but still not the room type we asked for. One of the bedside lihjts was not working and not fixed despite reporting it. The shower was cold this morning. Not the best stay we have had after many stays. Staff were friendly and helpful.
