The check in process was not easy as the room key wasn’t sent to my phone as requested. When I spoke to the front desk person, she was less than helpful saying she wasn’t sure why it wasn’t sent and she guesses she could try to send it again. I ended up having to stop in the front desk and get regular keys, which is no big deal but it was one more thing I didn’t want to have to deal with when check in at Hiltons is normally much smoother. The room itself was quite beat up. There were gouges in the closet door and the bathroom vanity. One of the bathroom tiles was cracked clear through and the tub was missing the finish around the tub drain. You could see the interior of the tub where the finish was missing. That being said, the bed was comfortable, the room felt safe and the area was great.
