Amazing Kyoto stay

We were blown away by this hotel. The staff were friendly and professional. The rooms, lobby and all other areas are very well furnished and nice places to be. Everything was immaculate. And our rooms were kept well stocked with toiletries and other niceties for our stay. It is well located in Kyoto, not far from the main shopping street. It’s also close to the subway, for easy access to the train station and around the city. Plenty of restaurants nearby, with even a map of local recommendations. This was our first time in Kyoto, and I would choose this hotel again if I return.

- Was 20 min walk from kyoto station - Could walk to lots of places which was nice - Room was a good size, pretty comfy beds. - Can’t use onsen if you have tattoos which I was pretty sad about. I know how most onsens are with tattoos in Japan but I thought a hotel might be more open since it’s for travellers. I didn’t let this affect my rating, since it’s common, but I wanted to point it out to others just in case they were wondering. - Had my favourite pjs of all the hotels we stayed in. - Tote bag was a nice touch

Great, clean and updated onsen. My wife enjoyed the fact there were separately dedicated onsens for men and women. The rooms were modern and more spacious than a lot of hotel rooms that we’ve stayed at in Japan. Good value overall.
