Looking for a vacation get away? A home away from home? This 1400 square foot, gorgeous water front stilt house gives you plenty of room to relax, have fun and most importantly right now social distance. Newly renovated this year, from furniture and paint, to linens and mattresses, it is clean and beautiful inside and out. There are 3 bedrooms and 2½ bathrooms, a full kitchen, dinning room, and living room. The waterfront access and beach themed interior give you the vacation vibes that you are looking for.
A deck off of every floor and a widow’s watch above allows you to enjoy sunrises, moon rises & beautiful night skies. Outback there is a floating dock where you can sit out and relax, tan, fish or tie off your boat. Ramp access is available access to both Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean. No boat? No problem! You can still cool off from the hot Florida sun in our luxurious 13 person swim spa that overlooks the canal. Lounge on the spacious rear covered deck facing the water where there is a tiki hut and a private outdoor shower. We also have new Kayaks and Bikes to cruise around and explore both the land and sea.
Only 15 miles from downtown Key West and Big Pine Key, makes it an easy ride to a beautiful location. Well attended by locals and visitors alike Baby's Coffee, Fish Restaurant and Bay Point Deli & Market are places you won’t want to miss during your visit. Bay Point County Park has a Kiddie Park, and basket, tennis, and volley ball courts plus a wide open field to let your dogs run and a place to play Bocce ball all within walking distance from the house. The home is in a good location, 20 - 30 minutes drive to downtown Key West depending on traffic. It is tastefully and carefully decorated with the Key West theme and very clean with adequate linens. The kitchen was well stocked, the refrigerator was great with a great ice maker and filtered water which was very appreciated. Some additional tableware would be good. The owner was pleasant to work with. There were several maintenance issues that Roland tried to resolve quickly. Some of the amenities as advertised were unavailable. The pool table is gone, the spa was not working properly and not maintained, some of the outdoor furniture could be updated and one of the kayaks is taped together with duct tape. We had up to six adults staying in the house. While there are comfortable beds for everyone the lower day beds do not rise and were an issue for older adults. They would work fine for children. It should be noted that the smallest bedroom door can't be opened properly if the lower bed is out. Despite some frustration with maintenance issues, we had a fantastic holiday and found the property very good value.

Rolando was very nice and responsive. His home had a lot to offer and was right on the canal with kayaks and a paddle board. All of the necessities were provided and we had a great stay.

Island Life
Stayed for a few months while on work detail. Owner was always a quick text away if needed. Place is amazing with 5 decks, kayaks, paddleboard, pool table, hot tub, W/D, quiet neighborhood and close enough to all the action of downtown. BOOK IT!!!
