The bed was uncomfortable way too soft and dents in mattress couldn’t sleep. Pillows were too thick fluffy. Musty smelling with rugs not tile floors. The food was expensive at the hotel n extra charges added to each bill 18% gratuity n hotel tax. Uber to every activity or restaurant. The uber drivers left us when we had two stops had to get another uber after being left at first stop to pick up items. The website said airport shuttle which it did not have it cost $20 to and from airport. Hotel Shuttle only goes to Duval st. Traveled via Expedia and additional charges were not included on website it cost more for hotel fees and charges (not including room service of course) it was not as expected and cost additional. Bailey the outside pool waitress was excellent and Sam the bellman was always pleasant and helpful. .the activities included kayaks which we enjoyed it’s a beautiful area at the hotel but do not venture out. It’s not a great area to walk or leave the facility. FYI if you have never been to Key west limited beach area none at this hotel just the pool area. I recommend the Hogfish bar which is close to the hotel. The hotel restaurant is mediocre at best and overpriced with the added charges and the added 18% gratuity added to everything including the getting a muffin and drink from the store in the restaurant. Crazy! They didn’t have breakfast sandwiches and smoothies were not possible until the restaurant opened. Overall beautiful weather 75-80 and nice people.

Had a lot of fun at Ocean’s Edge. Very nice people running the place, the room was clean and spacious, pools are a little small but a fun place to hang around. The restaurant is good and there’s a ton of activities and restaurants close by to the resort. They also have some fun activities on-site. We especially liked the kayak mangrove tour - our guide, Andrew, was great and made the tour the highlight of our vacation.

We LOVED the setting and the surrounding area! Absolutely beautiful! Be aware the hotel IS in the airport landing zone. If you like to watch/hear commercial planes you'll be very happy. Ask for a room on the top floor only - so you can (1) look over the marina AND (2) so you won't hear people moving chairs on their balcony above you. The max/min air conditioning is centrally controlled. If you want it colder than 67, you will not be able to. Not sure what the max heat was. Be extra vigilant about putting a thick towel on the floor to soak up any water that gets past the shower door. It WILL happen! Please do not slip on the wet tile floor! Be aware that if you want/need a later checkout, they will charge you an additional $50/hour past their usual checkout time of 11am. Be prepared for onsite meal expenses. They are very good, but they ARE on the pricy side. Our particular room smelled strongly of smoke on arrival. I'm nearly POSITIVE we asked for a nonsmoking room as we both have underlying medical problems that preclude exposre to smoke. Perhaps call ahead to ENSURE you get a nonsmoking on arrival. The entire hotel was booked so we did not have any other choice.

My stay was exceptional, the staff are all super friendly and helpful, the property is beautiful and well maintained, the marina is cool, and my room was very clean. One small caveat is that the comforters could be better quality, they smelled like tires once warm up to my body temperature at night.

This is a beautiful resort. Clean, will appointed rooms, and a beautiful view. Staff was very friendly and very helpful! The young girl that works at the Tiki hut is absolutely precious. She was very friendly, happy, helpful, and really seemed to enjoy her job. She was a pleasure to be around.

Staff is great and friendly. There was a slight issue with a used bandaid folded into a blanket that blanket was quickly replaced. There was also a quarter in thick layer of a previous occupants bath saltz all along the back edge of the tub. I just washed those away myself. More importantly the room inner and outer doors would not close without a fair amount of pull pay attention or your room will be open all night. Regardless the facility has a great shuttle, layout and good staff and i would stay there again probably just caught it at a tough moment.
