No hot water, front desk told us that all the hot water to the entire island of key west was cut off…. So I decided to ask others on the island to see if that was true. It was a lie from the hotel. The property stated it was a resort (I am also paying resort fees every day) it was not resort style what so ever. The photos online catfished/deceived us so badly. There were cracks in the ceiling of our room. The customer service line never responded back to us when we sent a message about our concerns with the water and cracks in ceiling. (Mind you we UPGRADED to a suite!!! For an extra $120) Also stated we would get a “view”… the view is literally a parking lot or a street. In total we paid for 4 days and it came out to $880…. this is in the OFF SEASON. The beach is not close at all, they make it seem so unfortunately. I will say the shuttle was great super convenient, breakfast was like a 6/10. Mediocre at best, the waffles are probably the best you are gonna get. Would I stay here ever again….. absolutely not. Especially not during season.

I paid for a suite, the mattress with the pullout bed was about 3 inches thick and unsleepable. The TV turned on every hour and a half and said HDMI three and then it would turn off and then an hour and a half later would turn back on same problem. We moved to a room with two queens, which was a downgrade yet they didn’t refund any money and then charge me $80 for an upgrade. I in this room the TV would not turn completely off, so we slept with a white screen on went to the desk to complain on our last day and he promised that they would take that $80 off, but I have yet to see it come off. The paint was peeling and bubbling up off the walkway along the front of the rooms. I’ve never stayed at a Marriott Fairfield in this sad of shape.

Pool need overall. No amenities . No coffe only in the breakfast. No restaurant. The hotel need change the paint oustside . The only good is the big rooms and the free breakfast. The staff excellent.

It took 3 attempts to get the sink unclogged but they were professional and got it done. Staff was outstanding!!
